As brand awareness and site traffic increases our Instagram is potential area of growth, there are dozens of high quality images on our Instagram page (growing weekly) but they aren’t easily accessible to site traffic or users who are not familiar with social media.

The first step was to try and better understand how are customers began their bathroom buying journey so customer questionnaires were organised via an email campaign to help us gain a better understanding. The feature is aimed at those just starting out on the journey purchase and are looking for ideas & inspiration, it also showcases a broad range of products and categories to a new user in an easy going casual browsing experience. Further to this with limited resources (3d artists and individuals overseeing production) available to us getting a regular churn of images is difficult utilising user generated content on site is an inexpensive way to build up a library of inspiration / ideas on site.
